I just spent the past 2 hours making this for my brother. He’s in bed now but I’m so excited to show him that I may wake him. Probably not, but he’s going to love it, especially after showing him the ac sleep cuddling comments.

This is the cover of my first ep as Moriko! I worked on it all through the night. It’s the size of a cd case and is all watercolor. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I can’t wait to get everything recorded and mixed! I hope you’ll all like my sounds.

My best friend took this from an art space downtown. I feel little guilt; it was too under-appreciated, hanging in a broken frame in an abandoned hallway outside of a dirty bathroom. I love it.

My 12 year old cousin recently spent the night here with my sister. She asked me to put on My Girls and while everyone ran around playing, she stayed by the stereo with her eyes closed, slowly dancing back and forth. Today she painted this sun for me.

I was organizing my aunt’s photo collection and found a stack that was stuck together from something spilling on them many years ago. This photo of the park was in that stack, stuck to the back of a school picture. This is how it looked after I set it free.

Staying at my grandmother’s again because 8020 (our new house) still doesn’t have internet. No sleep. No food. Just lots of writing and drawing and overwhelming excitement.
